GCSE Business

At key stage 4, we follow the Edexcel GCSE course.

Students will start by exploring the world of small business through the lens of an entrepreneur. They will learn how to develop an idea, spot an opportunity and turn it into a successful business. They will learn what makes a business effective, how to manage money and see how the world around us affects small businesses and the people involved.

Students will then investigate business growth and will learn about concepts, issues and decisions to be made when growing a business and working within a global business. Students will learn about meeting customer needs, making marketing, operational, financial and human resources decisions and will explore how the wider world impacts the business as it grows.
