East Leake is an inclusive academy where everyone is made to feel welcome. Our vision sets out to ensure that all students enjoy high quality learning experiences through which they are able to achieve their full potential.
The academy supports students in four main areas:
- communication and interaction
- cognition and learning
- behaviour, emotional and social development
- sensory and/or physical
We work collaboratively with outside agencies ensuring specialist advice and provision supports effective teaching and learning. Our inclusive ethos aims to encourage all students to be actively involved in their own learning. This involves valuing all students and staff equally, reducing barriers to learning and providing appropriate support so that all students feel able to participate.
East Leake’s specific SEN offer is outlined in the document at the bottom of this page. Based on each students’ home address, the support offered may vary from authority to authority. The links below take you to the relevant site where you can get more information about your local SEND offer.
