Six of our year 8 students travelled to Retford Oaks Academy on Thursday, 6 February 2020, to compete in the IET Faraday Challenge.
Students had to work together to design something that could drop from an airbus, to carry aid to people affected by natural disasters. After drawing a plan, building a prototype and presenting their ideas to the other teams we won!
East Leake Academy brought home the trophy and are now on the list to get through to the regional finals. Well done to everyone involved!
