Students showcase dance and musical talents

December has been a busy month for ELA across the arts, with many of our young artists taking part in gigs and shows.

Student band, Bad Fridays, took part in a showcase gig at The Old Library in Mansfield on Sunday 2^nd December and performed really well.

On Tuesday, 4th December, 36 students performed at The Majestic Theatre in Retford as part of the Diverse Academies’ Creative Arts Festival. This year’s theme was ‘A Wonderful World’ and ELA students represented Spain. They were outstanding and all enjoyed the experience.

Our dance troupe, East Elevation, took part in a showcase event at Carlton Academy on Thursday 6^th December. Their performance was one of the best at the event and the girls all worked really hard to show how far they have come as a group.
