A group of East Leake Academy students are heading to the stunning town of Kirchzarten, on the edge of the Black Forest, as part of our annual German exchange programme.
The cultural exchange visit takes place between 5-11 October 2019. ELA students will meet their German student hosts and families from our partner school, the Marie Curie Gymnasium.
The exchange programme has been running between the schools for more than forty years. It provides students with an understanding of other cultures and languages, an insight into the educational setting in Germany, and a chance to explore the region and take part in educational trips.
