On Tuesday 26 September, the sixth form celebrated European Day of Languages by having taster sessions of the different languages spoken by our own students.
The students had the opportunity to learn Mandarin, Italian, Russian, German, Spanish and Cantonese. The students enjoyed the session so much, they have asked if they could try to learn other languages.
Each session was led by a native speaking sixth form student. The initial assembly was also led by one of the year 13 students who has come from Ukraine.
A wonderful way to appreciate and celebrate languages and culture.
