Today we say a massive congratulations to one of our year 8 students, Nate!
Nate has taken it upon himself to cycle 160 miles from Eastbourne to Disneyland Paris, raising over £2,000 for The Osborne Trust via JustGiving and in-person donations.
The Osborne Trust mean a lot to Nate, as they offer continuous support to those across the country who are living with cancer, including Mrs Holroyd, his pastoral lead throughout year 7.
Nate described the challenge as fun, hard, but an incredible experience.
‘Getting to Paris was definitely my favourite part, realising that I’d had done it.’
It was at that point, Nate had to dismantle his pushbike to travel back home via the Eurostar!
