Today we welcomed The Air Ambulance Service to the academy, where Vicky Ambery gave an informative and engaging presentation to our year 7 students.

Her talk highlighted the lifesaving work the team carries out, serving as a powerful reminder of the vital role they play in our local communities.

She explained that The Air Ambulance Service runs 10 missions every day, has two children’s air ambulances that operate nationally and receives no government funding.

Operating 24/7 across Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and Rutland, the service plays a vital role in responding to serious emergencies.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunities that we’re able to give our students, helping them understand the value and impact of our emergency services.
