Three East Leake Academy students who competed in the County Cross Country Championships at Wollaton Park on 2 February 2019, took top places to secure their spots in the next stages.
James took 1st place and qualified for the national final in March, Xavier came 2nd place by about half a second and he qualifies for English Schools, while Lucas finished 9th and is on the reserve list for English Schools.
A wonderful sporting achievement by all.
