On Friday 22 November, 44 students from years 11 to 13 attended the World Skills UK Live event at the NEC in Birmingham. This was an exciting opportunity to investigate careers, apprenticeships and education opportunities beyond school.
Our students were able to meet and speak to people from companies ranging from Toyota to BAE Systems, to military and uniformed services as well as companies representing construction, beauty therapy and many others.
Our students were a credit to East Leake Academy and they behaved and conducted themselves exemplary from the minute they got on the coach until they arrived back at school.
