East Leake Academy sixth form is proud to have a diverse student community with a unique collection of talents and skills. As a sixth form, we are ambitious, motivated, creative and hardworking. Something we are incredibly proud of is our tight-knit community — all of our students value the close relationships between their peers and academy staff. Find out more about in our promotional video below.

Being a sixth form student at East Leake gives me a lot of freedom. You’re a lot closer with the teachers and you have more of a professional relationship with them, and the lessons are a lot more engaging.
Maya
I was the managing director of the Young Enterprise team. We created a book called The Adventures of Bella the Bee. We illustrated and wrote it, found a printer and printed it. Twelve schools took part and we came second.
Ethan
On the back of being project manager for Young Enterprise, I decided to apply for the senior student team and was given the role of deputy head student, and that’s been something I have focused on this year and I’ve really enjoyed that.
Madeleine
We’ve been on lots of trips to Cambridge and I’m also part of the Cambridge course which East Leake has helped me to be a part of.
Sam
My main passion is motor sport. I’m reading a book on the history of F1 and the engineering from the seventies and eighties. I’m hoping my future is based in motor sport.
Lily
I am passionate about creating. I love painting. I love performing. I love playing the guitar and writing my own songs.
