East Leake Academy students headed to Kirchgarten on 8 October to take part in the annual German Exchange programme.
This year was a very special trip as we celebrated the 40-year anniversary of the programme between the Marie Curie Gymnasium and ELA.
Principal Mrs Hardy headed to Germany for part of the trip to exchange gifts with the partner school and to take part in the 40th anniversary celebrations.
Students spent time with their peers at the Marie Curie Gymnasium as well as having some free time to do a spot of sightseeing in the local area.
We look forward to welcoming German students to East Leake Academy in March.
